TimeoutException: The Angular CLI process did not start listening for requests

I created the project from ASP.Net Core web application as below and selected the project type in Angular from ASP.Net Core 2.1 library, getting below error while running the project.

TimeoutException: The Angular CLI process did not start listening for requests within the timeout period of 50 seconds. Check the log output for error information.

Step1: Create project for Angular

 

Step2: Select Angular type from ASP.Net Core 2.1 library.

In order to fix this issue, you have follow below solutions –

Sometimes its with build issue of compiler, and you hit the refresh it to refresh the browser it will be resolved and work as expected however if still not working then follow the below steps.

 

To set the time as below code showing..

spa.Options.SourcePath = “ClientApp”;
if (env.IsDevelopment())
{
spa.Options.StartupTimeout = new TimeSpan(days: 0, hours: 0, minutes: 1, seconds: 30);
